SENDIASS drop-in sessions
Families will be able to meet with a member of the SENDIASS team to discuss their child’s special educational needs as well as what support is available through nursery, school or college.
Why not pop into one of the monthly drop-in sessions in our Best Start Family Hubs if you:
- have questions about your child’s educational needs
- would like more information or support in relation to SEND
- need help with transfer arrangements, or paperwork, regarding the choice of your child’s next education setting
You don’t need to go to the Best Start Family Hub closest to where you live, or nearest your child’s school, you can go to whichever session suits you and your family best.
Sessions are at: Durham County Council: Durham SEND Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) drop-in sessions
SENDIASS drop-in sessions are for parents and carers who are not currently open to or being supported by SENDIASS. If you have an allocated SENDIASS caseworker, please contact them directly if you need any further advice.
